About Our Practice

Why AAI

For more than forty years we have been dedicated to developing a strong team of physician and CRNA leaders to build an anesthesia practice that provides excellent service to the patients, surgeons and hospitals we serve.

We start with the best: Our physicians come from medical training programs at the University of Virginia, Duke, Yale, UNC, Columbia University, Massachusetts General and other outstanding programs. We demonstrate excellent leadership across a variety of disciplines, and our entire team of 40 physicians is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists (ABA). Our entire team of CRNAs holds current certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

We strive to improve: We have instituted rigorous internal scrutiny of all of our clinical and management practices. From our customized perioperative patient evaluation and management tools to our comprehensive internal performance evaluation system, we continue to cultivate and enhance our culture of excellence.
